This is a Republic of India 20 Paise commemorative coin from 1970.
It was issued for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations coin program, with the theme "Food for All".
The design on this side features a sun and lotus flower motif, which is why it is often referred to as the "Sun and Lotus" coin.
The coin is made of aluminium bronze and weighs 4.5 grams.
It was minted in both Bombay and Calcutta, with mint marks differentiating the origin.
