This is an old Indian five rupees banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It belongs to the pre-2000 era and carries the Ashoka Lion Capital on the front. The reverse side shows a farmer driving a tractor, representing India’s agricultural backbone. The note has bilingual text in Hindi and English, detailed designs, and a serial number. It is no longer in circulation, which makes it rare today. Because of its age and withdrawal, it holds historical and collector value.
